Information we receive
Depending on how you contact us, this may include your name, telephone number, email address, suburb or state, appointment preference, broad finance objective and the information you choose to include in a message. Recruitment enquiries may also include employment history, qualifications and a professional profile.
Information can be received directly by telephone, email, WhatsApp, an in-person conversation, a website enquiry or a calculator-report request. A website submission is transmitted securely and retained in a protected server-side enquiry record so Rockvale can respond even if an email notification is delayed or rejected. The general enquiry and calculator forms are not intended for identity or financial documents.
Why we use it
Rockvale uses contact information to respond to an enquiry, arrange a conversation, understand the general service being requested, maintain appropriate business records and progress a recruitment enquiry. If you later choose to seek credit assistance, further information and separate disclosures may be required before an application can be assessed.
Direct marketing and your choice
An enquiry gives Rockvale permission to respond about that enquiry; it does not automatically subscribe you to unrelated marketing. Rockvale will only send electronic marketing where consent or another lawful basis applies. Marketing messages will identify the sender and provide a practical way to unsubscribe. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by replying, using an unsubscribe link or contacting Rockvale.
Security and sensitive documents
Reasonable administrative and technical steps are used to protect information held by Rockvale. No internet or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords, tax file numbers, bank login details, identity documents or complete financial statements through a general website enquiry, WhatsApp message or unsolicited email. Ask for secure document instructions first.
Retention and overseas service providers
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, service, record-keeping, legal or dispute-resolution purpose, then securely deleted or de-identified where practicable. Technology, cloud, communications, aggregation or lender services may store or process information outside Australia. The locations depend on the providers used for your matter. Ask Rockvale for current details before providing sensitive documents.
Website analytics and advertising measurement
Essential website functions operate without advertising or analytics consent. If you choose “Accept measurement”, the site may use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand page visits, campaign sources and actions such as a completed enquiry, appointment booking or contact click. Optional analytics and advertising measurement remain disabled until you consent.
Rockvale does not send form contents, names, telephone numbers, email addresses, loan amounts, identity documents or other sensitive financial information to Google or Meta through these website measurement events. Meta Pixel may allow Meta to connect permitted website activity with its services under Meta's own privacy terms.
You can decline optional analytics and continue to use the site. Your preference is stored on your device and can be changed using “Privacy settings” in the website footer. Rockvale will update this notice before adding materially different tracking tools.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You can ask what personal information Rockvale holds about you, request a correction or raise a privacy concern by contacting info@rockvalefinance.com.auor 0452 233 907. Please provide enough information for the request to be identified and handled.
Rockvale will acknowledge and investigate privacy concerns. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Credit-service complaints can also follow the internal and external process in the complaints section.
This notice will be reviewed as Rockvale's systems, service providers and regulatory arrangements develop. General Australian privacy information is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner ↗.
