WHAT THE NUMBER DOES NOT SHOW

Important considerations.

  • Transfer duty and purchase costs reduce usable funds
  • A lender valuation can be lower than the contract price
  • Higher LVR lending may involve additional policy or insurance
  • Government programs have separate eligibility requirements
What is an 80% LVR?+

An 80% LVR generally means the loan is 80% of the lender-accepted property value and the borrower contribution covers the remaining 20%, before costs.

Does a 20% deposit always avoid LMI?+

Not necessarily. Property, profession, policy, valuation and loan structure can affect lenders mortgage insurance or risk-fee requirements.
